The Conference will include oral paper presentations and poster presentations, widely collecting research results related to craft, promoting integration between academic theory and industry practice, and fostering exchanges between domestic and international scholars.
Call for Papers
- Topics: "Craft and Slow Living," "Craft’s Paths to Health, Aesthetics, and Sustainability," "The Cultural Heritage and Innovative Transformation of Craft," and "The Social Value and Ripple Effect of Craft"—the scope covers, but is not limited to, the following areas: craft culture and industry development, innovation in craft techniques and digital applications, craft product design, and lifestyle aesthetics.
- Eligible Participants: Domestic and international academic researchers, craft practitioners, industry experts, and designers.
- Submission Format: Contributors are required to submit an abstract (within 500 words) and a full paper (not exceeding 8,000 words).
Paper Review Process
- Preliminary Review: Abstracts will undergo a formal review to ensure submissions meet the thematic relevance and quality standards.
- Secondary Review: A panel of invited experts and scholars will evaluate the papers based on three main criteria: research innovation, academic contribution, and practical value.
Presentation
- Oral: Arranged according to the contributor’s selection. Each presentation is allocated 15 minutes, including time for questions and discussion.
- Poster: Also arranged based on the contributor’s preference. Participants are required to produce an A1-sized academic poster. For product-related submissions, on-site display is recommended.
